As Clover Southwell's next of kin I am writing to let you know that she died peacefully in her sleep last Friday 15 December.
There will be a very simple burial ceremony at St. Pancras cemetery's Woodland Burial site at : you are welcome to attend but there will be no hospitality. No flowers, please; any donations in lieu could go to the National Trust, the Salvation Army or Amnesty International, all mentioned in Clover's Will.
To celebrate Clover's life there will be a memorial service at:
Hinde Street Methodist Church
To which we hope as many as possible of her friends will come; this will be followed at by light refreshments in the church hall. If you are likely to be coming please let me know at nowell@pigeonhouse2.plus.com. Though we cannot guarantee that there will be space for everyone's contributions, I should be grateful if during January you could send full details of any poems, readings, photos or pieces of music you would like to share.
We are endeavouring to contact all of Clover's very warm and wide circle of friends and colleagues with this news, but please do also pass this message on to any contacts of yours who may like to know, to help us avoid missing anyone.
